Leslie has a BA degree from San Francisco State in Child Development Through the Arts. She has dedicated her life’s work to helping the young and young at heart discover their creative gifts and celebrate those gifts artistically. Leslie has given character development workshops all over the country to a variety of age groups and in various environments ranging from senior centers to public schools to juvenile detention facilities.
Leslie has spoken at universities, leadership seminars, corporations including Google, and school groups of all ages. Leslie is able to reach and engage her audience by tailoring her work to the specific needs of each unique situation. Leslie uses music, writing, improvisation, puppetry and art.
Leslie is also a member of the Kids Comic Con team. KCC is a group of artists, writers, performers, and educators that tours with comic cons creating family-friendly content, filled with workshops and ways to inspire kids to share their stories through comics and characters.
