Sweeney Todd gave Leslie the chance to show she was more than just the funny girl.

She won the Shelley Award for best supporting actress in a musical as Beggar Woman

- one of the shows most pivotal and dramatic roles.

Sweeney Todd won several Shelley Awards in this year. Besides Leslie's triumph as Best Supporting Actress, the show was awarded Best Musical, Best Actor and Best Actress, Best Musical Director, Best Scenic Design and Best Lighting Design...not bad eh?
