FAMOUS SHEEP MAKE DEBUT!

When comedy legend Eric Idol needs talking sheep...he knows where to go!

Now appearing in the new Eric Idol comedy "Not The Messiah (He's A Very Naughty Boy)" are three sheep puppets designed and built by Leslie and her friend Scott.

Sheep are operated in these photos by the talented Jill.

"Not The Messiah" is currently being performed around the country. It's based on the Monty Python "Life of Brian" and Handle's "Messiah". Gotta go if it's in your town.

Happy Thanksgiving! If you missed the 81st annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, then you missed a 40+ Foot Giant Abby Cadabby balloon flyin' thru Manhattan! But don't worry, we have it here for you!

Also appearing in the parade was Leslie performing as Abby Cadabby on the Sesame Street float with all her pals from "the street".

Spotlight on one of our friends!

Featured on the CD cover of Lolly's newest CD "Spunkinsass", Leslie's Sasquatch Gordon has a supporting role in Disney's new movie "Enchanted"! Listen for his voice as the big green troll in the beginning animated portion of the film.

IS THAT WHAT I THINK IT IS?

Thanksgiving is almost here - and so is the MACY'S Thanksgiving Day Parade! Yes, Leslie will be performing as Abby on the Sesame Street float - which is exciting in itself - but even more exciting is the newest addition to the balloon family....

ABBY CADABBY!

Seen here at the balloon "test flight" in Flushing, NY on November 11th, Abby is set to be one of 3 new balloons this year, but is no doubt the cutest! More photos on the "photos with Abby" page. Click the photo!

It is rumored that Abby will be the first balloon in the parade - so make sure to get up early and watch all the hoopla!

September 2007

Leslie got a chance to work with some folks from Sesame Street recently in a series of DVD's aimed to help children of our military cope with issues that are hard for even adults to deal with.

In an AOL news item video (and later it was seen on Yahoo! News) showed Leslie hard at work, but the link went away, sorry. Leslie plays Rosita's mom (Rosita is the Latina blue monster on Sesame Street played by the amazing Carmen Osbahr (r.)) as her family copes with the dad coming home from war in a wheel chair.

The video will be available for free download for military families. It's a great project to help the kids cope and open conversations.

Highlights Coming Eventually!

Leslie headed home to the Northern California area on Saturday, July 28th for the Family Theatre Festival @ The Lesher Center for the Arts.

Leslie's wrote a new show featuring her own characters, audience participation and a surprise appearance by Abby Cadabby...though I guess its not a secret if I just told you....

Both shows were sell-outs and the festival was an amazing success! Hopefully, we'll be invited back next year!

The O'Neill Puppetry Conference is a great time of intense learning, training and amazement. Immersed in all aspects of puppetry from marionettes to on camera performing, to nothing but your hand as a character to believe in - all conference long! There's just nothing like it out there.

YOU MISSED IT

MARCH 4, 2007 - The Grove In Anaheim

Leslie is a part of the puppet improv troop "Puppet Up", from The Henson Company. The group is lead and stage directed by Patrick Bristow (Ellen, Showgirls) and is fun ADULT humor. HA!  Henson Alternative.

Leslie is also joined the crew - in AUSTRALIA! Playing in two different Australian Comedy Festivals in March-April. It was a long trip, but she learned a lot and got to hold a platypus. What more can you ask for?

There is a link to the Puppet Up website if you click the logo (l.). There is more information and clips of a previous show, actor profiles, etc. Check it out.  If you watch the intro video, you'll see Leslie performing.

For clips of the Puppet Up group at work, TBS features them on their site. Just click here: TBS
